Wm H I've had the very good fortune of being aware of and listening to Larry Williams' music for years. I've always stood in awe of his musicianship, his originality, and the truth in his music. It's no exaggeration to say that Larry's dedication to his art has had an enormous impact on my own career. There are a collection of songs that often go through my mind when I think of the happiest musical experiences I've had....and a fair number are Larry's. This album is no exception. about

This record contains some new and newly revised compositions by Larry Williams featuring Geoff Nudell on Bb, Eb alto, and bass clarinets and alto sax.
These compositions range from the light swinging "3pm" to the middle eastern influenced "Arabesque". There are also contemporary classical tracks on this same album, "The Three Little Horses" is an atonal exercise in the short story, "This Is My First Rodeo" a light hearted romp in Copland fashion.

"I've worked with Geoff over the course of two decades in one gig configuration after another and can tell you his musical brilliance is always present along with a high standard of professionalism delivered with a ready smile. This is the Geoff that everybody who knows him, knows."

REVIEWS;

"I’ve worked with and collaborated with Larry many times over the years and I’ve always loved his music and we’re very simpatico when it comes to most musical matters. So, I know his musical soul.
When he sent me the mixes to listen to, I knew they’d be good, but I had no idea exactly what to expect. When I heard these tracks, I was completely blown away. This isn’t just a great recording ... it’s an important recording." Mark Piszczek

My friend Larry Williams makes music for the most beautiful & pure reasons.." Robert Kyle

"This is another stunning example of amazing musicianship and vision. The fact that he switched primary instruments as a senior citizen, and now plays the new one with the same level of proficiency and imagination, seems impossible and yet... Geoff is a perfect collaborator too. There aren't enough stars. Thank you Larry Williams! Chris Cortez"

Hey Larry! - Thanks for the great music as always. Terrific sounds and an intimate setting. Rich Shemaria

"You know how some musicians get offended when you label their music as jazz, or classical, or whatever other genre, and that music is either good or bad. I get that, but mostly when I listen to it even if it’s great, I’m still going to mentally slap a label on it as more jazz, or fusion, or whatever else, I can’t help it. That being said Larry’s music is just great, and really does defy any labels. This album has wonderful original composition with world class playing and world class arrangements." Steve Luciano

Larry Williams has always been a first class musician, artist, and person. “No More Always” is the latest testimony of his long and fruitful career. The playing by Larry and Geoff Nudell is stellar, and the writing is exquisite. Bravo, Larry and Geoff!! Scott Whitfield

"Larry is a musical force of nature!" It’s been my good fortune to hear the playing and writing of Larry Williams for many years! His latest work featured on “No More Always” is yet another example of his continued growth and creativity...and the woodwind playing by Geoff Nudell is excellent- this is a great collaboration! Sam Zambito

No More Always is a magical album that combines the talents of Larry Williams and Geoff Nudell. Larry is one of the most inventive writers that I have experienced. And he puts a huge challenge to Geoff's spectacular woodwind abilities here. Geoff hits it out of the park with panache!! Thoroughly enjoyable album!!!!! Stan Martin

Larry this album is a piece of art. A wonderful sonic landscape that leaves the listener wanting to hear more. Can’t wait for the next one.

Larry- I really enjoyed your ‘No More Always’ cd! It felt to me like Joni Mitchell met Aaron Copland! Twists and turns - head and heart. Amazing talent! Congrats! 😊 Laura Schmidt

It was a beautiful musical journey! Every time I listen to this I hear something new. It’s on my regular playlist and I so appreciate every time I put it on! I absolutely love this CD by the way I can listen to it every day
